Kidner Contracting have been involved in quarrying since 1993

Our main quarrying operations are on the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland

Kidner Contracting have a gravel pit at Ravenshoe Quarry. These provide a full range of products, including base and sub-base unbound pavement materials for road, civil and on-site works.

Sized rock for various applications to suit gabion baskets, bank stabilisation, land reclamation, landscaping and speciality rocks.

Concrete aggregates are produced to Australian Standards (AS 2758) or to customer requirements. Sealing and cover aggregates, crushed rock, gravels, crusher dust and maintenance gravel.

The sand pit produces fine and coarse sands. Concrete sands, manufactured sands, natural sands and packing sands. Additional processes for quarry materials include screening, washing, precoating, and pugging (where works must meet defined specifications).

Kinder Contracting has Quarry Registration Certification (compliance with TMR specification requirements) from the Department of Main Roads.

Kidner Contracting has a mobile crushing plant, precoating plant, screening plant, drill rig and pugmill available for hire, and has undertaken numerous contracts to crush and supply ore at various sites throughout North Queensland and the Torres Straits.

Our staff are trained to the highest standards in Plant Operations and Surface Extractions, Operating to Safe Work Methods and Procedures to ensure a zero-harm environment.
